Convergence 20 Chicago: First & Last & Always

Why?

That's when Convergence 20 Chicago will be happening with unofficial Convergence-related events happening on 24 April 2014.

What is Convergence? Convergence is an annual party put on by the denizens of altgothic for the denizens of altgothic and ALL their friends that squishes together hundreds of net.goths from around the globe and their friends into a single city for a weekend of socializing, booze, musical events, sweet debauchery and much more. SouthSide's very excited about attending this event next year ...since it will be her first time. So, be gentle with her.

Her good friend, DJ Scary Lady Sarah who spearheaded the campaign in bringing Convergence back to Chicago has a special message for bands and designers wishing to participate in Convergence 20 Chicago:

Calling all DJs, Bands, and Artists who wish to participate in C20Chicago, submissions are now being accepted until 12 November 2013!  In order to have your submission considered, you must send an email with this heading in the subject field "DJ/Band/Artist" to c20chicago@gmail.com. 

Please include the following information: 

your name

name of your band/clubnight/etc

history

links to your music

links to pertinent websites (with photos)

brief intro and/or description

All who have submitted will be notified of the C20 committee's decision. 

Final decisions will be made no later than 12 Dec 2013.

Attention all Designers! Those wishing to participate in the fashion show portion of C20Chicago, submissions are being accepted now until 12 November 2013. Interested designers must send an email with this heading in the subject field "C20Chicago Fashion Show - Designer" to c20chicago@gmail.com. 

Please include the following information:

your name

name of your fashion line

links to pertinent websites (with photos of garments)

brief intro and/or description

All designers who have submitted will be notified of the C20 committee's decision.

Final decisions will be made no later than 12 Dec 2013. Only 6 designers will be chosen.

Vendors - there will be announcements for your submission at least five months in advance of event date.

C20Chicago committee will be contacting speakers to participate in daytime panels but are open to any suggestions / submissions. Anyone looking to volunteer or willing to help in any way, please contact the co-chairs of the C20Chicago committee (or any member of the committee) directly via email - c20chicago@gmail.com. Please make it clear which area you are interested in helping with C20Chicago.
